the build and go sailing again and I hope they do the same for other self-builders.
Now that I have finished the build, the new articles and videos record my experiences sailing a 10m, Richard Woods
design, self-built, Eclipse catamaran called Swing Cat.

Cruising in Scotland - The Slate Islands, Oban, Colonsay & Oransay A cruise dominated by the Paps of Jura with a northern leg past the Gulf of Corrievrechan and the Grey Dogs, through the Slate Islands, to Oban. Highlight: a barbecue on the beach at Oronsay, where we were joined by Highland Cattle. Read Article Top of Page 
The Small Isles, Skye, Lock Scavaig, Kinloch Castle, Carsaig Bay, Gigha and Sanda Finally north of Ardnamuchan Point! Over the sea to Lock Harport with its Munros & Talisker malt whisky. Strong northerly winds headed us all the way to Skye, but they stayed northerly for wonderful sails back. Read Article Top of Page 
First Serious Cruise in Swing Cat 3rd - 9th April 2017 A Delivery Trip to the Multihull Centre, Fosse Quay, Millbrook, where I need to make some modifications. A near gale tested the boat and we were much sought after by dolphins. Read Article Top of Page |

Cruising in Scotland - Inner Hebrides, Loch Fyne, Kyles of Bute, Rothsay and Holy island This was meant to be a gentle sail around Lock Fyne and the Kyles of Bute. However, we learn the meaning of "dreich" and are hit by a Force 9 on passage. We also discover the most beautiful anchorage of An Caladh and rock art on Holy Island. Read Article Top of Page
